The Puffy Lux Hybrid scores a 6/10 on the scale of mattress firmness. The Puffy Lux Hybrid is softer than the typical Puffy Lux Hybrid.
The Puffy Royal Hybrid has a firmness rating of 6.5/10. This mattress is still medium firm, but it will be firmer than the Puffy Lux Hybrid.
The Puffy Lux Hybrid is a great mattress for both side and back sleepers. The Puffy Lux Hybrid will provide back sleepers with a great contouring experience as their hips sink just enough to keep their bodies in alignment.
Side sleepers will feel much less pressure. The pressure should not be on the hips or shoulders. This mattress may be too soft for stomach sleepers.
Puffy Royal Hybrid also makes a great mattress for different types of sleepers.
Puffy Royal Hybrid’s zoned support will keep back sleepers in alignment. It will be more comfortable than the Puffy Hybrid.
Side sleepers will also find the mattress comfortable, with great pressure point relief. For combination sleepers it will be easy to switch from sleeping on their back to their side.
What Do the Puffy Mattresses Feel Like?
Because of its responsiveness and balanced foam feel, it is very easy to move about on the Puffy mattress original.
The Puffy Lux Hybrid feels like traditional memory foam. This mattress will slowly sink in to your body. Although this mattress isn’t the most responsive, it has a memory foam feel.
Puffy Royal Hybrid delivers on its promise by being puffy yet cloud-like. Although it does not have memory foam, the Puffy Lux Hybrid seems to be more responsive. The Puffy Royal Hybrid has a pillow-like sensation while you’re laying down on it.
Average Weight Sleepers – 130lbs – 230lbs
Original Puffy mattress provides stability and support to back sleepers of average body weight.
Due to the mattress’ firmness, side sleepers of medium weight won’t get the necessary comfort in their hips and shoulders on this mattress.
Puffy is a good choice for stomach sleepers who are average to heavy. But, those who weigh more than 230 lbs will require a firmer mattress.
The Puffy Lux Hybrid should provide support for average-weight sleepers. Memory foam is great for back sleepers as it contours well and provides exceptional support.
Side sleepers of average weight should also find this mattress comfortable. Although people closer to 230 lbs may be able to push into the mattress too much, most people need good pressure relief on their hips.
People of average weight who sleep on their stomachs will find this mattress too soft.
Back sleepers of ordinary weight may have a better sleeping experience thanks to the Puffy Royal Hybrid. The zoned polyfoam can provide support for back problems as well.
Side sleepers who weigh less than 200 lbs should feel great pressure relief.
However, anyone weighing less than 230 lbs can push the mattress too far and experience hip and shoulder discomfort.
People of average weight who sleep on their stomachs will not find this mattress too soft.
Heavyweight Sleepers – Over 230lbs
Side and stomach sleepers who are heavyweights won’t get enough support from the original, but back sleepers who are heavyweights may receive some support while they’re on Puffy.
The Puffy Lux Hybrid’s coils will provide support for most heavy back sleepers. The mattress will be too pressure-point heavy for side sleepers.
Puffy Lux Hybrid is not able to provide sufficient support for those with larger stomachs.
Thanks to its coils and zoned polyfoam, the Puffy Royal Hybrid will be suitable for heavy back sleepers weighing up to 230 lbs.
If you are a back sleeper over 300 pounds, you may need a mattress that offers more support. The Puffy Royal Hybrid is not able to support stomach or side sleepers who are heavier than the Puffy Royal Hybrid.
Lightweight Sleepers – Under 130lbs
Puffy’s original mattress is the best for back sleepers looking for something solid and comfortable.
If you’re a light side sleeper, the original Puffy can feel overly hard. Puffy can provide additional support for stomachs sleepers who are less light than the Puffy Luxembourg Hybrid or Puffy Queen Hybrid.
Puffy Lux Hybrid will provide strong support for light side and back sleepers. Lightweight stomach sleepers, meanwhile, will want a mattress that is more supportive.
The Puffy Royal Hybrid will be a great choice for light-weight back and side sleepers. Some stomach sleepers may prefer the Puffy Royal Hybrid, but most will require something more supportive.CLICK FOR BEST PRICE
