The original Puffy mattress is the most firm of all the three mattresses. It is firm but the soft memory foam offers great comfort and contouring.
The Puffy Lux hybrid mattress features a traditional feel of memory foam, making it the softest among the two hybrids. This mattress allows you to really settle in and molds to your body for excellent support.
To provide support, the Puffy Royal Hybrid mattress has a zoned design to aid those with back discomfort.

Firmness and Feel Differences
Let’s look at how these mattresses feel, and how firm they are.
How Firm Are the Puffy Mattresses?
The Puffy mattress is rated a 7/10, which means it is slightly firmer than the average. Medium firm, or the industry average, is a mattress with a grade of 6.5. Puffy’s original mattress is more rigid because of this.
On the scale of mattress firmness, the Puffy Lux Hybrid rates a 6 out of 10. It is more comfortable than the traditional Puffy Lux Hybrid.
The Puffy Royal Hybrid scores 6.5/10 in terms of firmness. The Puffy Lux Hybrid is firmer, but this mattress is still medium in firmness.
The Puffylux Hybrid is an excellent mattress for side or back sleepers. For back sleepers, the Puffy Lux Hybrid will offer contouring and support as their hips drop just enough to maintain a proper alignment.
The pressure will be much reduced for side sleepers. Pressure should be kept off their hips and shoulders. This mattress may be too soft for stomach sleepers.
Puffy Royal Hybrid also makes a great mattress for different types of sleepers.
Puffy Royal Hybrid’s zonesd support will allow back sleepers to maintain proper alignment. It is likely that they will find this more enjoyable than the Puffy Hybrid.
Side sleepers will also find the mattress comfortable, with great pressure point relief. For combination sleepers it will be easy to switch from sleeping on their back to their side.
What Do the Puffy Mattresses Feel Like?
Because of its responsiveness and balanced foam feel, it is very easy to move about on the Puffy mattress original.
The Puffy Lux Hybrid has the same feel as traditional memory foam. This mattress will gradually sink into your body. This mattress may not be the most responsive but it is made of memory foam.
The Puffy Royal Hybrid lives by its name, being puffy-cloudlike. Despite the fact that it has memory foam, it seems more responsive than the Puffy Lux Hybrid. While you lay down on the Puffy Royal Hybrid, it gives off a soft, pillow-like feeling.
Average Weight Sleepers – 130lbs – 230lbs
Original Puffy mattresses should offer stability and support for people of average weight.
Side sleepers of medium or heavier weight won’t find the required comfort due to the firmness and support provided by this mattress.
Puffy will provide sufficient support for stomach-sleepers of average weight. However, people who weigh more than 230lbs will need a firmer bed.
The Puffy Lux Hybrid should provide support for average-weight sleepers. For back sleepers, the memory foam offers superb support and contouring.
Side sleepers should feel comfortable on this mattress, regardless of their average weight. Some people may feel too pressured by those who weigh more than 230 pounds, but most people should feel comfortable with the pressure relief provided by the mattress.
People of average weight who sleep on their stomachs will find this mattress too soft.
Puffy Royal Hybrid can provide a better sleep experience for people who have normal weight backs. Even individuals with back trouble may get enough of support from the zoned polyfoam.
Side sleepers less than 200 pounds can get great pressure relief from this mattress.
Those who weigh closer than 230 pounds, however, may push too deeply into the mattress and eventually experience some hip and shoulder discomfort.
People of average weight who sleep on their stomachs will not find this mattress too soft.
Heavyweight Sleepers – Over 230lbs
Side and stomach sleepers who are heavyweights won’t get enough support from the original, but back sleepers who are heavyweights may receive some support while they’re on Puffy.
Because of its coils the Puffy Lux Hybrid is supportive for heavy back sleepers. The mattress will be too pressure-point heavy for side sleepers.
The Puffy Lux Hybrid will not provide enough support for people with heavier stomachs.
The Puffy Royal Hybrid’s coils and polyfoam zones make it suitable for heavier back sleepers, weighing upto 230 lbs.
Over 300-pound back sleepers may need a mattress with greater support. The Puffy Royal Hybrid is not able to support stomach or side sleepers who are heavier than the Puffy Royal Hybrid.
Lightweight Sleepers – Under 130lbs
The Puffy original mattress is the best option for back sleepers who like something balanced and firm.
Puffy original can feel too stiff for side sleepers. Puffy, which is lighter than either the Puffy Lux or Puffy Royal Hybrid, provides additional support to stomach sleepers.
The Puffy Lux Hybrid’s firm support will be a benefit to light-weight back and side sleepers. Lightweight stomach sleepers, meanwhile, will want a mattress that is more supportive.
Puffy Royal Hybrids are supportive and lightweight for side- or back sleepers. Although the Puffy Royal Hybrid might be suitable for stomach-sleepers who are lighter, most will find it more supportive.CLICK FOR BEST PRICE

Each of the three mattresses includes the strong core support layer. It is made from a solid and supportive foam.
Both the Puffy Royal and Puffy Lux hybrids have two additional support layers. These mattresses have a contour-adapt base that supports spinal alignment and gives the beds a responsive, springy feel.
